Anthony (Tony) Ungaro

Anthony (Tony) Ungaro of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Bristol, passed away peacefully at Sarasota Hospice House on Tuesday, May 29.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cynthia Ungaro; daughter, Susan Ungaro; brother, Joseph Ungaro and his wife, Judy; nephew, Bob Ungaro, and his wife, Stacey; sister-in-law, Brenda Kritzman; best friend, Chet Clark, and his wife, Judy; nieces, cousins and many lifelong friends.

Tony was born and raised in Hartford and graduated from Weaver High School in 1952. He earned his Aircraft Mechanic Certificate from Embry Riddle in Miami, Fla. and then spent 34 very happy years working at Heublein Inc. in Hartford.

Tony was a veteran of the Korean War and will be buried at Sarasota National Cemetery.
