Russell Milton Freeman, 59, formerly of Harpswell, Maine and Bristol passed away on Sunday, April 2, at his home in Brunswick with his wife of nearly 15 years, Kristie Freeman.

Russell was a devoted husband and father who worked hard to provide a wonderful life for his family. His love and dedication to his family will always be remembered and cherished.

Russell, a devout Christian, was proud to serve our nation as a United States Marine and also served in the Army Reserves. He took great pride in his near 20 year career with Hobart Food Equipment, and he was also a longtime brother of the Casco Masonic Lodge in Yarmouth.

Russell is survived by his loving wife, Kristie, and their 14-year-old daughter, Hannah, who was his pride and joy. He also leaves behind his mothers, Rose Marie Russell, Dawn Pulsifer Mastyk and Shirley MacInnis; and his step-father, Norman Russell; sisters, Rosemary McGall, Sonya Onorati and Susan Mastyk Peterson; brother, Michael Mastyk; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father, Robert Freeman, sister, Rosalie Catrett, and step-brother, James Taunton.

Russell will forever be in our hearts and will be remembered as a man of honor that loved his wife and daughter with all his heart.

Visiting hours will be held at Stetsons Funeral Home 12 Federal St. Brunswick on Friday, April 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, April 8, at Elijah Kellogg Church, 917 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell at 2 p.m.
