Ella Juckett Martin, 60, of Bristol, lost her four-year battle with cancer Friday, March 31, 2017.

She was born and raised in Housatonic, Mass. and a class of “74” graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Martin, son, Meric, his wife, Martha, granddaughter, Anneke Elisabeth, son Matthew, and his wife, Holly. Also by her mother, Dorothy Bentley, her brother, Michael, sister, Karen and her two nephews, all from Indiana; Uncle William Juckett, who lives in London, England; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins residing in the greater Utica, N.Y. area.

A noon memorial service will be held April 15 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 18 East Main St., Plainville, CT with a private burial ceremony to take place in Fort Ann, N.Y. later this year.

In lieu of flowers, make all donations to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center at Hartford Hospital, or cancer research center of your choice.
