Rita (Follandri) Semprini

Rita (Follandri) Semprini, 93, formerly of Bristol, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, in Kennebunk, Maine. She was the widow of Colombo Semprini.

Rita was born in Bristol on April 2, 1923, the daughter of the late Natale and Angelina (Elazzi) Follandri. She lived in Bristol most of her life before she moved to Maine 12 years ago. She was the co-owner with her husband of Lamp Lighter Antiques where she worked for 35 years until she retired in 1999.

She was a member of St. Anthony Church and was a Chapter member of the Bristol Historical Society.

She is survived by a son, Paul, and his wife, Lillian Enright, of Cape Neddick, Maine; three grandchildren, Catilin, Zachary and Matthew; plus several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers, Attio and Dante Follandri, and sisters, Alice Ferrari and Viola Carfley.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9 to 10 a.m.
