NEW BRITAIN - Once again, it was a single inning that all but sealed the loss for the New Britain Bees.

It was the fourth inning Thursday night that cost the Bees. On Friday, it was the second.

Mike Lee surrendered five of his six runs in the inning as New Britain fell to the YOrk Revolution 7-4.

Dayron Varona doubled to put the Revolution on the board, but Alonzo Harris’ grand slam three batters later did the real damage.

Lee (2-6) lasted four innings and gave up just three hits. But those hits proved to be costly. He also walked four batters.

Harris drove in another run in the fourth, this time on a sacrifice fly. Michael Burgess drove in York’s final run in the seventh.

But it was the Bees who scored first after Jamar Walton singled in first inning. Michael Crouse later added a home run in the sixth, while Yusuke Kajimoto scored on a wild pitch in the seventh and Michael Baca doubled in New Britain’s final run in the ninth.
