Serving Hartford and Litchfield counties since 1997, Good Guy Electric should be your first call for any and all electrical work.
Owner and operator Dean Ferrante is a licensed electrician with more than 25 years of experience doing electrical work for residential, commercial buildings and industrial equipment. Located in Terryville, Ferrante offers free estimates and competitive prices for any job no matter how small.
On the residential side, Ferrante will do anything from electrical troubleshooting, to the electrical work on a new addition. He can help with service upgrades, wiring upgrades, adding outlets, switches, installing ceiling fans and other lighting fixtures. He installs smoke detectors, fire alarms generators and does any swimming pool electrical work.
“Almost all of the work I do is custom work; every situation is a little unique,” Ferrante said. “When you hire me, you get me; I’m the guy that comes. I work on my own and strive to make every customer happy.”
Ferrante recently completed work on a two-family home that started with a project to install the 400-amp, three-phase service for Larson’s Garden Center’s greenhouse on Route 4 in Burlington. He then went on to redo all of the wiring throughout an early 1900’s two-family home located on the property.
“Larson’s Garden Center and Landscaping is a very respectable business, one that I like to work with,” Ferrante said. “Their business goes back over 100 years. I highly recommend their garden center and their landscape design and services.”
For any businesses that need electrical work done on their commercial property, Good Guy Electric is the go-to local business. He also does outside lighting and anything else a small business would need to keep the lights on.
“Having repeat work and enjoying the customers for many years as friends has also been very good for me,” Ferrante said.
Ferrante does even bigger jobs including industrial sites, offering many services such as machine/control wiring, control panel fabrication, instrument calibration, low voltage wiring, phones and networks and industrial troubleshooting.
“I also offer a lot of newer services,” Ferrante said. “Updated lighting, LED lighting, electric car chargers, I’m always interested in new technologies. The electrical field has been very rewarding.”
Good Guy Electric has a long history of satisfied customers and earned five stars on Google. Lots of great feedback and comments have been written, including “Dean is the best electrician we’ve ever used. His attention to detail … follow up and suggestions made our projects go smoothly … and saved us money. We have used him for multiple projects and will continue to use him in the future. I would highly recommend.”
