BRISTOL - Bryan Ricci and his staff at Ricci & Co. have been providing the community with income tax assistance and financial advice since 1999.
“We’ve been pretty fortunate that we have a nice client base,” said Ricci, who has been a certified public accountant since 1986.
“I’ve been in the tax practice since then,” he said.
Ricci and his staff, located at 171 Central St., do both personal taxes and those for small businesses. He said it’s particularly important this coming tax season that those filing seek advice with the new 199a tax deduction law.
“I’ve spent lots and lots of hours making sure I’ve figured it out,” Ricci said.
Ricci also said the 1040 form has changed, which could cause some confusion for those trying to file their own taxes.
Ricci and Co. offer reasonable prices compared to the bigger tax preparation companies.
“We’re very competitive and we’re here all year long for questions,” Ricci said, adding that services at his company are “much more personal.”
Ricci and Co. also offer retirement and wealth planning.
“We cover the whole planning gamut,” Ricci said.
“We review all of your budget and expense information for a more holistic look at financial planning,” he said.
“Whenever we do something, we do it because it’s right for you and not for us.”
Ricci said his company services over 500 clients, and he knows them by name.
“Generally, I’m the one who meets with every client so they get the benefit of meeting the owner,” he said.
