NEW BRITAIN-MicroCare Corp. announced Monday its new Regional Sales Manager for the Central United States and Canadian regions.

Kevin Marion of Franklin, Wisconsin will join the staff at MicroCare. With more than 30 years of experience in electronics assembly and industrial sales he will manage the region that stretches from Indiana to Minnesota as well as Canada.

“The MicroCare sales force is highly talented, but it is a special moment to recruit a sales executive like Kevin,” said Dan Sinclair, MicroCare national sales manager.

“Kevin’s been selling in the region for two decades. He knows every customer, he knows the technology, and he knows our product line. You simply can’t get a better fit.”

Prior to MicroCare, Marion worked for 16 years in outside sales for a prominent OEM in the electronics assembly industry and nearly a decade at an industrial distributor out of El Monte, California.

At both of those companies he supervised various sales functions, which covered as many as 16 states and managed at times up to 35 manufacturer representatives and more than 100 distributor sales representatives.

Marion is also an expert in the technology of electronics assembly. In the 1990s he introduced clients to the then-radical new component design called “surface mount technology.”

Tom Tattersall, MicroCare chief operating officer, thinks Marion adds depth to what he believes is an already impressive line-up of workers.

“Kevin strengthens our team and improves our geographic coverage in very important markets. We will count on his expertise to not only find new customers and better serve existing ones, but also to provide guidance and training to our entire team. Overall, this is just going to be great for our customers.”

Marion is also excited for his new role with MircoCare, calling it at a “win-win for everybody.”

“MicroCare clearly is the leader in critical cleaning, because they’re inventing new products and processes that nobody can match. Those products are going to help my customers be more successful, creating jobs and proving American technology is the best in the world. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

MicroCare Corp. is a critical cleaning products manufacturer headquartered in New Britain.
