To The Editor:

I would like to take a minute before the election to say thank you. It’s been an honor to have the opportunity to challenge for the seat in the 77th District.

I have met and spoken with many people and the input they have given me you could never put a price on. I am ready to tackle the task of working for our district of middle class American citizens. I will make sure that we are not swept under the rug by the upper class. I will work to help our lives become more than a pay check to pay check life style.

I will work hard to make sure our children are safe and have the same opportunities that all children have. I would have voted to ban bump stocks so you cannot turn your gun into a machine gun. I am a supporter of the Second Amendment and utilize my rights under it, but see no need to turn it into that type of a weapon. My opponent voted against banning them.

As a father of daughters I would have voted for the Pay Equity Act that helps level the playing field for working women, my opponent voted against it.

I am a middle class resident with a fixed income and a small business. I am proud to say that I have always worked for people like you and I, and will continue to do so. If tangible returns are what you are looking for, a vote for me will get that done.

Don’t be fooled by billboards and big picture signs, they do not work in Hartford for you. I ask for your vote on Nov. 6 and once again, thank you again for all the kind words during the campaign.
