To The Editor:
Although all the media attention lately has been focused on Washington, as election day approaches, I am urging voters in Bristol to pay attention to the local races.
As Republican town chairperson, I want to share with you that we have assembled a great team of candidates who are poised to fix Connecticut.
I encourage you to seek them out and research their profiles and backgrounds. There is little doubt that the state’s financial situation is dire, and that Connecticut lags far behind the nation in recovery.
To that end, voting Republican and supporting Henri Martin for state Senate and Cara Pavalock D’Amato, Whit Betts and David Rackliffe, for state Representatives in the 77th, 78th and 79th Districts, respectively, will give us the best chance of reversing the trend of fiscal instability created by Dan Malloy and the democrats in the General Assembly.
I cannot stress enough what an amazing slate of candidates we have assembled. I hope you join me not only in voting for this group but in telling all your friends and neighbors to join you in voting “R” for recovery.
