To the Editor:

As a councilman, Ken Cockayne boasted he voted against all employee raises, but as mayor over the past two years, he very quietly initiated raises (disguised as ‘upgrades’) for 11 City Hall insiders, averaging $7,445 per person.

Additionally, he has grown city government, adding a marketing manager and a development specialist at $75,000 a year each. With all this and the thousands it costs every month to handle the Cockayne sexual harassment complaints, it is clear to me that Bristol can no longer afford our current mayor.
