The Bristol Sports Hall of Fame will host a roundtable discussion among former athletes from St. Anthony’s High School in Bristol on Thursday, May 10, at the Bristol Historical Society, located at the corner of Summer and Center Streets.

The public is invited to this free program, with St. Anthony alumni especially to attend. Light refreshments will served afterward.

St. Anthony’s High School was the predecessor of St. Paul Catholic in Bristol, serving as the local Catholic high school for 18 years, from 1950 to 1967, when St. Paul was opened and replaced it.

The Hall of Fame’s program will begin at 6:30 p.m. on May 10. Attendees who have old yearbooks or memorabilia from the school are asked to bring it to share with other attendees prior to the formal discussion, which will begin at 7 p.m.

St. Anthony alum John Fasolo will serve as moderator, with Bob Fiondella, Morrie Laviero, Phil Mannarino and Tom Burke all taking part in the initial phase of the discussion. After that group shares their memories, the discussion will be opened up to audience members to ask questions or share their own memories of the school.
