New Britain man killed in motorcycle crash Saturday night

BERLIN – Three motorcycles collided on Route 372 Saturday evening, killing one person and injuring two others.

Berlin Police Deputy Chief Chris Ciuci said the crash happened around 5:58 p.m. on Mill Street.

The three motorcyclists were travelling together, heading east towards Cromwell when they collided.

A 67-year-old man from New Britain was pronounced dead the scene. Police are still working to notify next of kin and are not releasing the individual’s name at this time.

LifeStar transported a second individual to Hartford Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. A third individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are uncertain what caused the crash at this time. The Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating.
