FARMINGTON-December is â€śFAFSA Monthâ€ť in Connecticut, and Tunxis Community College will host sessions for those who need help filing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Representatives from Financial Aid Services at Tunxis will help those with questions about filing their FAFSA information and renewals. All current and prospective students, including high school seniors, are welcome to attend with their parents.
Walk-in FAFSA sessions will be available on Tuesdays in the Financial Aid Services Office, 100 Building, Room 1-083, on the following dates: Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Dec. 10, noon to 4 p.m.; Jan. 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Jan. 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A Saturday walk-in FAFSA session will be held Dec. 7, 10 a.m. to noon in Tunxis Library Computer Classroom.
Individual 30-minute sessions are available by appointment on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon on the following dates: Dec. 4 and 5, Dec. 11 and 12, and Dec. 18 and 19. All sessions will be held in the Financial Aid Services Office, Room 1-083.
