To the Editor:
On Aug. 11, Republican voters in the 30th House District, representing Berlin and Southington, have the opportunity to vote for Donna Veach, the endorsed Republican candidate.
Donna is the candidate who can win in November and provide conservative, ethical representation to a district that has, for too long, been represented by a tax and spend Democrat with special interests as his priority. Donna Veach is committed to providing transparency in government, and will represent our interests, not special interests, when elected in November. Donna’s current position as development/marketing director for the New Britain Youth Museum and Hungerford Nature Center requires her to use her business background, as every penny counts in a nonprofit organization.
Donna and her husband, a Berlin police officer, have raised three daughters in Berlin, so Donna knows how hard it is to manage a household budget as well. That is why Donna is committed to transparency in state government and will work to rein in the state’s bloated budget. Donna’s three daughters attended Berlin public schools, so providing quality education is another priority to Donna.
There is an expression that says, “If you want something done, ask a busy woman.” Donna fits this perfectly. I urge voters in the 30th District to vote for Donna Veach in the primary on Aug. 11th. Every vote is important.
