To The Editor:

Just a note of thanks to the hospital staff, EMTs, police officers, the store clerk and a customer who were extremely kind and professional to this traveler.

We were on our way to Ohio for the holidays when we stopped for a pitstop at the Exxon Tigermart in New Britain.

I rolled my ankle walking into the store, fracturing it. All of the folks mentioned above helped me with friendly concern.

Renewed my faith in humankind.

Thank you all again.
