Stuart Phillips, who’s been working at headquarters in Plainville for over 10 years, stated that the UBI Federal Credit Union offers a variety of promotions for their wide age demographics to keep things “interesting and exciting.”

“We are extremely focused on the youth in the community,” said Phillips, the CEO and president of UBI Federal Credit Union, “We are very concerned on how we can best support the senior citizens of today and of tomorrow.”

“Recently we launched a youth savings challenge. It was a program to have young adults get inspired to save and learn the values and components of depositing into an account,” said Phillips, “At the end of the contest, a young lady won the grand prize.”

Claudia Zovich, the winner of the grand prize for the youth savings challenge, donated her prize to the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Foundation, a foundation for a Berlin High School student who tragically killed in an accident.

Phillips said, “I couldn’t believe it; it was so beautiful to see her happiness to do that and so unselfish to a cause. I was so proud of her. By what she’s doing is going to make herself so successful in life. It’s enormous. Its unexplainable value. Our goal is to inspire our younger generation to understand financial instruments.”

The UBI Federal Credit Union offers a variety of financial services to Hartford County residents. UBI values proposition low costs, premium deposit programs and the state of the art online accessibility. UBI wants the members in their community to expect efficiency within dependability on those online channels so that their data and private information is protected. “The service with our company that most people rave about is our lending rates are so much lower than our competition in the financial services industry, especially with auto, home and personal credit, credit cards,” said Phillips.
