BRISTOL - Crowley Auto Group has always been first and foremost about taking care of its customers.
“As you know, I follow through with that and I ask that if someone is unhappy, I want to know about it,” said Ken Crowley, owner of Crowley Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram - which has 13 franchises in Bristol and Plainville and employs about 350 people.
“My dedication has always been to take care of the customer,” said Crowley.
Crowley’s dedication is evident in a recognition his company recently received from Chrysler, called the Customer First Award for Excellence. This is the second year in a row they received the honors.
“It’s a really big deal,” Crowley said.
“We’re not perfect, and once in a while we have an issue, but I do everything in my power to take care of it,” he said.
“I’m the only one of the auto dealer owners who makes that promise. Service is of prime importance to us.”
Crowley credits his promise for satisfaction and his hard working staff for the loyal customers who return to his business year after year.
“We try to make things easier for them.”
Making things easier entails all areas of the auto group, including the service center, which is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week.
“If you work and you need to get your car serviced, that’s usually a problem,” Crowley said. “Not at Crowley.”
Crowley Auto Group is also very much about giving back to the community. It supports the Bristol Technical Education Center whenever it can, regularly hiring graduates. Crowley also recently donated a dozen late-model engines with fuel injectors for the students to work and train on.
Crowley also supports the Connecticut National Guard Foundation, collecting food, money and toys for the families of the troops. Additionally, the auto group tries to hire veterans as much as possible, helping them with a career after serving in places like Iraq and Iran.
