Profession: Controller at Community Solution, Inc.

Public service experience: Thibeault is chair of the city’s finance board, co-chair of the Fire Building #4 Building Committee, and is or has been a member, of multiple city boards and committees. She was also a PTA president, Girl Scout Leader, Forestville Village Association member, Chamber of Commerce Board director, Wheeler YMCA Board member and Sunday school teacher.

What do you hope to achieve if elected? Some Thibeault said, are to create and deliver fiscally sound budgets, a business-friendly government promoting economic growth and jobs, safe, strong family-friendly neighborhoods through fighting blight and cultivating a sense of community; achievable through innovation, research, new ideas, collaboration and “transparent, ethical representation.” Thibeault said she is a “fiscal conservative.”

Message to voters: She can be the “energy that helps us focus on growing our tax base by bringing in new business and industry while providing jobs” She also “looks to bring culture and excitement to our community so that we can stay local, supporting those who invest in us” and “be that motivator to get others involved.
