Public service experience: He is president of the Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble. He assisted the Memorial Boulevard Task Force. “The voices of music, arts and nonprofits groups are vital to the city. You hear about the development of the arts and cultural growth in surrounding towns driving local business, and this should be part of the overall vision and strategy for Bristol,” he said.

What do you hope to achieve if elected? Business owners are still waiting for the vision of downtown to become a reality, he said, “Smart and calculated investment with a clear strategy and vision is needed for Downtown, Memorial Boulevard and all of Bristol.” He added. “Transparency in government is very important to me and it is something that has been lacking in our local government. This has to change and I want to work with Ellen to make this a priority in local government when she becomes mayor.”

Message to voters: “I grew up in Bristol’s 1st District and I live there currently. I want to represent the area and people that I have known most of my life. That’ is why I am running for city council,” he said. “Transparency in government is very important to me and it is something that has been lacking in our local government.
