NEW BRITAIN - The Central Connecticut State men’s basketball team will have its head coach back shortly.

Head coach Donyell Marshall will join the team on Nov. 27, the school announced Thursday night.

The former UConn star had not been with the team since the beginning of the season, Nov. 2, as the school was investigating what it called “a personnel situation” leading to a seven-game absence.

CCSU has since called the situation resolved.

Marshall’s first game back will be Nov. 30 against North Carolina A&T. The Blue Devils began the season 1-3 with Marshall still missing Friday’s game at East Carolina and Nov. 21’s game against Coppin State.

There is no update on the status of assistant coach Anthony Anderson, who has also not been with the team since the beginning of November.
