Bristol Hospital sees uptick in covid-19 patients

BRISTOL -- Bristol Hospital saw a jump in coronavirus patients Wednesday.

Sixteen patients who tested positive for the virus were reported at the hospital, which is up from 10 patients on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the hospital also reported that it had successfully discharged three patients within the past 24 hours who had covid-19.

No deaths related to the virus or patients under investigation were reported at Bristol Hospital.

Coronavirus hospitalizations in Connecticut fell by six patients, according to numbers released Wednesday, leaving the state with 1,148 covid-19 hospitalizations.
