Bristol Hospital sees another decrease in covid-19 patients

BRISTOL -- Bristol Hospital saw a slight decrease in coronavirus patients Friday.

The number of patients who have tested positive at the hospital has been slowly dropping all week.

Bristol Hospital started the week on Monday with 13 patients with covid-19. By Friday, that number was down to 10 patients.

Bristol Hospital all week also had an additional one to two patients under investigation (PUI) for possibly having the virus. On Friday, the hospital reported having no PUIs.

According to statistics released Friday, the state saw another increase in coronavirus hospitalizations, albeit a fairly small one. Eight new patients with covid-19 across Connecticut brings the state’s total number of hospitalizations to 848.
