Bristol Hospital still treating two coronavirus patients

BRISTOL -- Bristol Hospital is still treating two coronavirus patients.

The hospital on Wednesday reported no change in its virus numbers since a day earlier.

Bristol Hospital admitted one patient with covid-19 late Monday and, before that, another on Friday. Prior to that, the hospital had not had a patient with the virus since Aug. 16.

Bristol Hospital has not reported a death related to coronavirus in months.

Across the state, coronavirus hospitalizations increased slightly by three patients compared to a day earlier, statistics released Wednesday by state officials indicate. The latest stats said there are 73 people in Connecticut hospitalized with the virus.

One death associated with covid-19 was reported by state officials Wednesday.
