New Britain has had 44 additional residents confirmed as having tested positive and also had its 79th confirmed coronavirus-associated death since last Wednesday, according to data released by state health officials Monday.
The city has had 1,457 confirmed and 59 probable cases and 79 confirmed and 22 probable virus-associated deaths since reporting began.
Bristol reached 700 in residents confirmed as having tested positive for coronavirus Monday. The city had an additional 10 residents confirmed since last Wednesday. Bristol’s 17 probable cases remained the same.
Newington has had four additional residents confirmed as having tested positive for coronavirus since last Wednesday. The town has totaled 435 confirmed and 21 probable (up one) coronavirus cases overall.
Southington is up an additional five confirmed and one probable coronavirus cases since last Tuesday. The town has had 390 confirmed and 16 probable coronavirus cases in all.
Berlin has had one additional confirmed coronavirus cases since last Wednesday, with 197 confirmed and nine probable cases among its residents.
Plainville is up three in confirmed coronavirus cases since last Wednesday for totals that stand at 192 confirmed and two probable cases.
Plymouth has had an additional two residents confirmed as having tested positive for coronavirus since last Wednesday. The town has had 81 confirmed and five probable cases in all among residents.
Statewide, 45,595 tests reported since Friday with 497 coming back as positive cases. There have been three additional residents who have died from coronavirus-associated illness, for a total of 4,495. There was a decrease of nine in patients who are currently hospitalized with the virus for a total of 68 in all of Connecticut.
