BRISTOL - A city man was arrested early Wednesday after police raided his house and found cocaine.

Nicholas Wentland, 30, of 272 Terryville Ave., faces charges of possession of cocaine and sale of cocaine.

Police raided Wentland’s home around 6 a.m. after acquiring a search warrant for the residence. According to police, 29 grams of cocaine were found during the search.

Wentland was arrested following the raid, during which police also reported finding $900 - which was seized as suspected drug profits - and other paraphernalia indicative of narcotic trafficking.

The 30 year old posted $200,000 bond and is expected to appear in Bristol Superior Court later this month.

Further details about the raid were not immediately available Wednesday.
