Southington police asking for public's help finding shoplifters who stole donation box for children

SOUTHINGTON - Police are asking for the public’s help finding two suspects who shoplifted from a local gas station, taking a donation box to a charity for children, among other things.

Police said the theft occurred June 26, at about 10:13 p.m., at the Citgo gas station on Main Street. Among other things in the store, the suspects allegedly took a charity box with about $70 inside that was supposed to go to a charity for children.
