SOUTHINGTON - A Bristol woman has been accused of stealing personnel information from her then-employer in October and using it to find a colleague, who she then allegedly assaulted.
Jessica Ramos, 27, is facing charges of third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny after turning herself in last week to police.
According to police, Ramos on Oct. 25 went to Comfort Suites, at 64 Knotter Drive, where she worked, on her day off. There, she allegedly entered a backroom without permission and took keys for a manager’s office, where she made copies of another employee’s personnel file. The file included their Plainville home address.
Police allege Ramos then assaulted the colleague at a home in Plainville.
She was arrested by Plainville police after the incident and is facing separate charges for the assault.
Ramos, who is free on a $2,500 non-surety bond, is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Jan. 8.
