BRISTOL - Four people were injured Monday afternoon when a car rolled over and left the roadway in Rockwell Park.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed that the vehicle was traveling southwest, at around 4 p.m., when the operator lost control and rolled into a wooded area near the B.A.R.K. dog park. The road runs from Steel Road, through the park, and comes out on Park Street.
Police, firefighters and multiple ambulances responded to the accident.
The four people in the vehicle were able to get out on their own.
They suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. It was not immediately clear if they would be transported to the hospital.
The vehicle, which ended up on its hood on a sloped area, had to be towed from the scene. It sustained heavy damage.
