BRISTOL – Bristol Eastern girls volleyball topped Platt Monday night in a 3-0 shutout.

Eastern took the three sets 25-12, 25-16 and 25-22, respectively.

Hannah Webber led the Lancers with 19 kills and two assists. Lauren Bender was close behind, racking up 13 kils with three aces and two assists to complement her line.

Abby Jones had 31 assists with five aces from serve.

Goodwin Tech 3, Aerospace 1: Goodwin Tech won 3-1 over Aerospace on Monday.

Aerospace took the first set 25-21 before Goodwin ran off three straight set wins at 25-16, 25-21 and 25-21, respectively.

Maribel Gonzalez led in kills with seven. Rachael Astacio had 15 service points with three aces.

Javiellie Merle-Gonzalez had six assists with three kills. Trinity Chambers tallied four aces with 12 service points.

Rachael Astacio had 15 service points with four aces and Trinity Chambers had 12 assists.

Girls soccer

Wolcott Tech 5, Goodwin Tech 3: Goodwin Tech girls soccer lost Monday night to Wolcott Tech, falling 5-3.

Megan Lukaszewski scored twice while Ericka Aponte scored once in the loss. Assisting on Goodwin’s trio of scores were Dezarya Trusty, Tomoya Bennett and Selyah Rivera.

Kyla Saguing had three saves for Goodwin.

Litchfield 5, Terryville 0: Terryville girls soccer was blanked to Litchfield 5-0 on Monday.

Jillian Saunders netted three and Riley Southard scored twice for Litchfield.

Ally Drake had 18 saves for Terryville.

Boys soccer

Goodwin Tech 6, Grasso Tech 1: Goodwin Tech won 6-1 Monday over Grasso Tech.

Edin Imsirovic scored four times in the win for Goodwin. Damen Stepien had one score and Goodwin was the beneficiary of an own goal by Grasso.

In goal, Dylan Johns stopped seven shots for a Goodwin win.
