BRISTOL - It came down to the final game for the Bristol co-op girls lacrosse team.

One win away from setting the program’s all-time regular season win record, Amistad stood in Bristol’s way.

But it wasn’t nearly enough as Bristol delivered a big-time 19-6 blowout victory led by Gabby Abramczyk’s eight goals in her final game wearing the Bristol uniform.

Abramczyk set the single season scoring record (42) in doing so, previously held by Meghan Hamel.

Also adding goals for Bristol were Ashley Macdonald (3), Aly Policarpio (2), Maddie Bourassa (2), Ashley Watson, Sarah Guerin and Nataly Domitrz.

“This was an amazing bunch of seniors and Coach Policarpio and I are

really going to miss them,” Bristol coach Kyle Phelan said. They’ve been through a lot of rough seasons and this was a great way to go out. We are so proud of them and wish them the best in the future.”

It was the final game for Alexis Lape, Domitrz, Guerin, Bourassa, Policarpio, Macdonald, and Abramczyk.
