MIDDLETOWN - It was a big meet and the Bristol boys co-op swim team had a chance to finish the season with a winning record.

Middletown, however, was too much to handle for Bristol in its 97-87 win Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Bristol had a number of quality performances.

Gabe Bartolome, Colton Litwinczyk, Keagan Mullan and Josh Mitchell took first place in the medley relay with a time of 1:52.00.

Ben Stafford was first place in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:02.4.

Mullan and Mitch both performed well in the 50 freestyle. Mullan was first and Mitchell finished second.

Both Bartolome and Litwinczyk finished in first place in other events as well. Bartolome took first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.96. Litwinczyk was first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.27.

Bristol finishes its regular season 7-7 overall and with a 3-2 record in its division.
