BRISTOL - The term losing hasn’t been associated with the Bristol Central boys basketball team in well over a month.
It was no different Tuesday night, despite a sluggish start, as the Rams beat Capital Prep 48-42 behind 26 points from Jaekwon Spencer.
In the process, the senior moved to sixth on the school’s all-time scoring list, passing D.J. Hernandez and Todd Hasler.
Bristol Central’s winning streak is now at 14 games with two regular season games left, both on the road, against Wethersfield and Bristol Eastern.
The Rams trailed 19-10 at one point but went on a 12-0 run in the second to take a lead that they never gave up.
Bristol Central moved to 15-3 on the season with the win.
