NEW BRITAIN - It’s just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right. Put your hands on your hips. You bring your knees in tight.

Prepare to warm up your “Time Warp” dance skills as Trinity-on-Main presents the cult-classic “Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

There will be three showings tonight, at 5 p.m., 7:15 and 9:30.

Released in 1975, the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” tells the story of sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) as they discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist (Tim Curry) after they get a flat tire during a storm.

As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a house full of wild characters including a rocking biker Eddie (Meat Loaf), a creepy butler Riff Raff (Richard O’ Brien) and servants Magenta and Columba.

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume, talk back to the characters, sing along to the songs and show off those “Time Warp” dance moves.

Tickets are $8 single or $15 a couple. There will be a cash bar and refreshments for sale.

For more information call Trinity-on-Main at 860-229-2072.
