BRISTOL -- The Bristol senior Center is hosting its Fifth Annual Craft Fair Friday featuring crafts and food.

Jason Krueger of the senior center explained it is one of their biggest fundraisers, and it continues to grow each year.

“The seniors work all year around making crafts for the craft fair,” Krueger said, “and there will be over 50 different vendors this year.”

The fair will be Friday and Saturday, Krueger said, adding that on the first day, all items will be handmade and several area vendors will be displaying their creations for purchase. He added that there will be a bake sale and refreshments available in the coffee shop.

Many of the crafts that will be displayed were made in the senior center’s workshops such as, ceramics class, quilting class, arts and craft group, and their knitting group.

On Saturday, he said, the fair will be “expanded to incorporate unique vendors and not just handmade crafts.”

“Last year, between the two days, we had several hundred people,” Krueger said. “It’s bigger and better this year. If you haven’t seen what we are all about, you have to check it out.

The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the Bristol Senior Center, located at 240 Stafford Ave.
