SOUTHINGTON - This Saturday, the 2nd annual Crazy Beverage Bash will be giving people something to drink to by offering a wide variety of beer, wine and liquor samples, great food trucks, and raffles.

Last year just over a thousand people came to the bash.

Matt Mazzochi from The Reach Foundation encourages people to get there early to minimize wait time and snag some of the beverage samples, which are in limited quantity.

There will also be 50 raffle items up for grabs, including season ski passes, electronics, autographed merchandise, beers, bikes, and more. There will be a silent auction.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka will also be hosting a Bloody Mary recipe contest, which is determined by votes cast by attendees.

Fourteen food trucks will be serving up a wide variety of cuisine. There will also be live music.

The money raised will go to The Reach Foundation, which benefits children struggling physically, socially, and financially.

The event is at the Mount Southington Ski Area located at 396 Mt Vernon Road in Plantsville from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

VIP tickets are $35 and general admission tickets are $25. VIP ticket holders can get in one hour early and receive a free souvenir glass. There are also designated driver tickets available for $15. Attendees must be 21 and have a valid photo ID. Prices for all tickets increase by $10 at the door.
